Meet the Tattooed Presidential Candidate of Czech Republic

Imagine your president is tattooed from head to toe. Sounds crazy? But believe it or not, Vladimir Franz a leading Czech presidential hopeful is tattooed from head to toe. Since the breakup of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic has had two presidents, Vaclav Havel and Vaclav Klaus, and both were elected by Parliament. But both of those elections were plagued by charges of corruption, so the legislature handed over the vote to the general public.

Klaus, the incumbent, called the direct elections “a fatal mistake” because someone like Franz might succeed him. Klaus was at one time caught on camera 'stealing' the pen of Chilean president Sebastian Pinera.

It seems the people of Czech are now accustomed to intricacies of their presidents.
